it stops i left open the bat and i start the game and i can see the server only in local

thats correct, because for your computer its a local server not an internet server

other players will see it as an internet server (if your router is forwarding the ports)

and there it stops ?

it looks like the qagamex86.dll file is loaded unlike you said

start a server, until it fails, and then give us that logfile again

I technology news site I'm following also mentions it

http://tweakers.net/nieuws/87202/aanwij … nline.html (its in dutch)

(115 replies, posted in RTCW Coop)

when i create i non dec server it starts but my friends cant see this online....:(

thats probably because you are behind a router or a firewall, you need to open port 27950 and 27960 on your firewall and also forward them in your router to your computer

it might be easier if you and your friends just play on a public server

313

(115 replies, posted in RTCW Coop)

btw: if you run a local server its also an internet server, just open your firewall

can you give the output of the file rtcwconsole.log ? its somewhere in your main folder

are you sure can't open the console (without seeing it ?)

press the control-escape keycombination
and then type /quit and press enter, so see if it quits the game

click on the 'create server' menu item, choose your settings and click on 'start server' in the right bottom corner

you probably mixed up the installation folders, (which is stated in the readme that you should not do this), check your rtcw main folder if it contains an sp_coop_pak1.pk3 file, if it does, delete it, also delete your rtcwcoop config files

You will also be able to play as an AXIS alongside the bots in the speedrun gametype

N3rwitZ: I'm not sure if you interpreted my comment correctly: but to make sure: yes its possible to port it to android, but I'm not the one who's going to do it, because I have no android device and I don't have the time for it

in my opintion there are better ways to aim (a mouse) than touching a screen, and maybe it would be fun for you to play it on your tablet or phone, but I think it would be very annoying for your co players as you will navigate not as fluent as keyboard/mouse players do

its technically not impossible to port the source to android, but I really don't see the point of playing an FPS on a touchscreen device
