When we tried to vote for g_reinfoce the server crashed all the time. Both from callvote and from menu. However when joined spectators it worked. Did not try other votes.

On voicechat the global menu is broken. Returns to itself, so cannot say v5x.

I'll try to reproduce (and fix) the reinforce vote

about the voicechat bug I know, its new, what keyboard layout do you have ? I think it works on US keyboards (I'm on a belgian layout)

small remark about the g_spawnpoints cvar

g_spawnpoints 0 -> autosave every 30 seconds
g_spawnpoints 1 -> save a spawnpoint manually with the "spawnpoint" command
g_spawnpoints 2 -> multiplayer style flagzone respawn

and about sv_maxclients: don't touch this cvar
use sv_maxcoopclients

@Talk about custom pk3s

I was hoping not to see this subject arising for a long time. I played ET since start and still do some times. I spent way way too many hours on it every single day for many years. During those years the servers had easy access. Not too much custom pk3s being the major thing. Many servers had custom maps (great) but not that many had skins/sounds. At some point I found it too hard to join servers, because every single server had tens of megabytes of stupid skin/sound packs. At that point, I pretty much slowly quit playing ET. Sometimes it did take long time to join any *** server and sometimes I even failed to find one. I pretty much felt the game being raped.

Imho make maps, not skins/sounds.

I agree with that, i'm always annoyed when I have to download when I want to play

The only solution I see is recreated the dedicated console q3,rtcw,ET has, but this involves a lot of changes, so it wont be for the next update (or the one after)

oops, sorry wrong pk3 was loaded, it should work now

no downloads needed all changes are serverside

SUPERB WORK GUYS !!!  really really enjoyed playing this if we as a clan can do anything to help please do not hesitate to contact us we have made a sub-forum on our own website and have posted instructions on how to get things up and running in windows XP and windows 7 here! http://webclan.freeforums.org/return-to … e-f32.html
please feel free to register with us if anyone needs any help!

The biggest help we can get (except development help) is getting people to play it and building a community (one that realizes that everything is still under development so that we're open to changes.

So writing howtos is great and helpfull !

Currently not, but it should be possible, that would be the best solution.
I just need to find a model with an empty frame or something like that

396

(9 replies, posted in RTCW Coop)

currently I cannot destroy the door by dynamite, only the barrel and when the barrel is destroyed I can run a script to remove the door

maybe I can place it to the left wall and put more barrels, don't know yet

Ideas for other models are welcome smile

instead of some script that suddenly triggers the door to open ?

I never knew about that gametype, Fretn. Does the server Admin have to select that gametype or can we, as visiting players, do that?

you can call a vote to change the gametype

If you like some competition, try out the battle gametype. There its important that you are a better fragger than the other player: deaths, hit accuracy and score counts, while you have to buy guns, ammo and health to survive
but buying things results costs money (aka score), you can go below zero with your score, but then you cannot win the game
