for map bugs you need to talk to sage, he knows a lot more about the mapscripting than me

about the panzer bug: I look into it

SaDeK: is orwa96 correctly describing how you exploit the panzer ?

how do you try to join your server ?

does it work if you type: /connect localhost
or /connect 0.0.0.0 or /connect 127.0.0.1 in the console ?

forward the port 27960 for udp in your firewall, remove hamachi, create an internetserver and let your brother join, or play on one of the public servers

if you want to recompile the game, then its possible but it will not be compatible with regular rtcwcoop

about the first issue: this is only when you are playing on a non dedicated server ?

If you cannot program then forget about it, it's too complex to explain (no offense)

I'm sorry Fretn but that info was given to me like 3-4 times and i already said in the question that i know it is being bypassed yet everyone keeps saying it is bypassed....ok can you tell me where this code is please?

as was the one who coded that feature I wanted it to confirm to you

check the code from line 461: https://github.com/fretn/rtcwcoop/blob/ … /ai_cast.c
remove that if else block and the 'feature' is gone

hey, watch your attitude or maybe you won't receive any answers in the future

you want to change it ? edit the source code and compile it yourself

the accuracy is ignored in the ai files, ai get more accurate when g_gameskills is set higher

that's because the 'nextmap' command doesn't exist in rtcwcoop, you can callvote a nextmap, but I know thats not the same smile

Success!  Well, sort of.  I never did get the CoopDED application to work.  I had to use the set up dedicated server that is in the Coop main menu.  My problem was that I didn't completely understand how port forwarding worked.  Once I opened port 27960 in the XP computer's Firewall and put the correct LAN address for port forwarding in my router, everything worked.

Now that the Coop server is running on a separate computer from my regular gaming computer, it is much more stable.  I haven't had my screen go blank and the server has not crashed.

I don't know what I might be doing wrong with the CoopDED application.  Probably something in the server cfg or the bat file.  Actually, for now, I like having the server running like I do because I can see what the game is doing.  With the CoopDED application, all I ever saw was a dos window.

for the coopded application, its better you start it from dos

and yes the coopded application is a dos window, all you can see in it is the server console where you can type server commands

there is a consolecommand: /dumpcastai <playertype>
this will create an ents file with the needed code to create an ent for this ai type

you can type them in that 'thing' (the server console), they will be saved in a file called wolfconfig_ded.cfg, next time you start they will be loaded from that file

the previous one stopped working after some server upgrades, so I've built a new basic page
