We played your converted maps last night on our server, TitaN. Most of the maps will run, but they need a lot of work to make them playable.

There are no flag spawns in any map, this severely hinders progress in some maps, making them unplayable to a finish. Here's an example in one of the "Tomb" maps:

When Dog and me both died we respawned at the beginning of that map and obviously couldn't proceed forward again.

There's also the problem with the old respawn tk bug. Testing the maps on your own means you wouldn't have been aware of this problem.

Despite the problems we enjoyed playing your conversion, especially the Vil02 map. If I can find some time I will fix these problems to make all the maps playable.

That's an old screenie I took ages ago, it might have even been during the first release smile . It was fixed by the time version 0.9.5 was released.

Timegate is a campaign consisting of several maps, Assassin. It would take some time to covert it to RtCW Cooperative, but it can be done. The fist thing you would need is the map creator's permission to do so, then take things from there.

Hey Slow, great to see you here at RtCW Coop cool . I remember fraggin' on your server, it was the "Tram" map, with Boss1 waiting in the room for you and Uber Soldats on the tram, as it approached the tram bay yikes .

Hello lads, I'd like to find the best way of recording our RtCW Coop frag sessions and then create videos with them. Right now the files save with the .roq file extension, which is a nightmare to convert.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I've got a problem understanding how to add extra ai to my map, lads. Here's my .ents file :

As you can see, I'm trying to add 2 venom soldier guards at the castle main gate. I used the dumpcastai command, then edited my .ents file accordingly. I then edited my .ai file so that they would trigger at the start of the map, but the map wouldn't load because of an "unknown soldier" error in the script.

Any help would be appreciated.

Very true, Schnoog, the owner of Splatterladder and Wolffiles, has offered 3 free servers for RtCW COOP. We have one and there are still 2 more available, all anyone who is interested has to do is ask him.

Cheers Sage, m8 cool . I read through your new tutorial for SP map conversions, it's very detailed and thorough. When we get all our Clan server issues sorted I'll definitely be trying this out, thanks as always.

I've never seen anything like that before, but we never use the "auto-save" option when playing, we always use the "flag-capture" option.

We've been playing RtCW almost as long as you've been alive, Jura smile . We complete each map in about 10 minutes, it's easy for us, we slaughter the enemy forces. We're at the stage now where we need custom maps, which I'm now learning to how to make, I'm not finding this easy at all, but I'll get there.

That usually happens on Paderborn when you haven't killed all of the Generals, the mission is not complete. We've never had any bugs on that particular map.
