the aim accuracy is tied to the skillevel

lowest is 0.6 highest is 1.0

on what skillevel are you playing ?

only on the hardest setting the aim is 100%

yes its stupid that some people in their free time have worked for almost two years everynight on a coop game and that something doesnt work

and the maps are so easy that you are able to figure out in a few minutes what to do anyway (in case you never played the SP version)

I know, and as this is a rtcwcoop forum, its useless here smile

can you post a screenshot of your rtcwcoop folder, and also from your main folder inside the rtcwcoop folder ?

and if possible, can you paste the output of the console log file ?

that unofficial patch is not needed for rtcwcoop, rtcwcoop works different from rtcw, so don't use these things

you need to delete the pk3 in your documens/rtcwcoop/main/ folder this is probably the reason it doesnt work

209

go to the rtcwcoop folder in your Documents folder and remove the pk3's from the main folder in it

THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! I WOULD KISS YOU FOR THAT HELP !

But how to make then OVER INTERNET ?

a dedicated server only shows a dos window, after starting a dedicated server, you need to open a new instance of rtcwcoop and then go to the server browser and connect to your lan server

maybe later in the year when its winter again, now its summer, there's a lot of sunshine (we had 10 months of cloudy weather) and I'm enjoying it (aka I'm working in and around the house).

There's at least one bug I want to fix and thats the spawnflag bug.

hm thats strange

does it work when you start a local game with cheats enabled (use /coopdevmap <mapname> command to enable cheats) and then use the give all cheat (same with the snooperriffle and fg42)

(2 replies, posted in Bug reports)

hmm this is a known bug, it happened a lot in the past, since the last release it doesnt happen  that much anymore, I'm still not able to reproduce it at will

You will always spawn at the original spawn point, at the gate behind the truck's original starting position, no matter which flag you capture.

does this also happen when you play alone on the map ? (cannot test right now)

very strange, the 2 bugs fixed in that patch have nothing to do with initialisation

can you reinstall 0.9.5 without that patch and see if it goes fast again ?

can you give me a screenshot of the contents of the main folder ?

We've never experienced this bug, Fretn and we play every night. The only noticeable bug that we encounter now on a regular basis is with the map, "Forest". When the map starts and the Allied players spawn some of them end up spawning at the second flag for some reason, just outside the Axis main base.

If they take the flag and start fighting any Axis they encounter the map will then restart. Even if they don't take the flag where they spawn and instead just try to make their way back to the first spawn flag the map is again automatically restarted if the Axis guards in the towers spot them.

sounds like a nasty bug, thanks for reporting

the reason you didnt experience this is probably because g_friendlyfire isnt set to 2

if you want it to be publicly accessible you need to make sure ports 27950 and 27960 are forwarded in your router to your computer, and also make sure that your firewall doesnt block these ports

btw: A 4 year old that plays an FPS, haha thats awesome !

dedicated 2 = internet server
you need to set dedicated to 1 for a lan dedicated server
